WILD BEGINNINGS

Get your child off to a wild start in one of our Early Childhood Education programs!

  • Stroller Buddies presented by Kimberly-Clark (10 months to 2 years with parent)

  • Preschool Safari (3 to 5 year olds)

  • Wild About Art (5 to 8 year olds)
  • Zoo Yoga (3 to 7 year olds with parent)


WILD WAYS TO EARN A BADGE

Looking for a roarin’ wild way to earn a merit badge?

Ever wonder what it would be like to spend the night at the Zoo?  Now you can find out with a Dallas Zoo overnight!  For our special “Buggin Out” overnight, Brownies can earn their Bug Badge while they learn about some of our smallest animals in our collection, the insects.  This program features up-close animal encounters, an insect inspired craft, and a night tour!

Ever wonder would it would be like to spend the night at the Zoo?  Now you can find out with a Dallas Zoo overnight!  For our special “Habitat Hoopla” overnight, Juniors can earn their Animal Habitat Badge while exploring various habitats from around the world, including the Amazon Rainforest, African Savanna, and our own Texas grasslands!
