President’s Day CodeSLAM
In partnership with CodeStream Studios
CodeSLAM is a computer coding event that challenges curious and self-motivated youth to learn to build in one of three pathways: web, game or app creation. Join CodeSLAM Studios this President’s Day at the Dallas Zoo, as we explore the web development pathway and learn to make a website trivia quiz about your favorite animals.
Participants of the CodeSLAM will learn the basics of programming for the web during our CodeTalk and then visit a section of the Dallas Zoo to collect animal facts for their web project. Participants will be using an online platform when coding their projects and will requite access to an active email address, if they would like to save their work for later viewing.
Program fee: $60 members/$75 non-members
